Glyn Johnson

As the owner of Stockport Construction, I have had a long standing interest in building work and love using different materials. Over the years this has fuelled my enjoyment of working in construction.

I left school in 1986 with an O Level in Woodwork and went on to college to do a 3 year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. Using this qualification and experience I went to work for a joinery firm where I honed my skills. Keen to expand my skills further I joined a shop fitting company and worked all over the UK. Not satisfied with this I wanted to continue my professional development and so went to work for a local builders who specialised in loft conversions and detailed joinery in kitchens and bedrooms.

All of this experience means that no job is beyond my skill set. Using the skills and technical knowledge that I have developed through my previous job roles I have branched out into extensions and loft conversions. Glyn Johnson is a member of the FMB (Federation of Master Builders), giving you the assurance that all our work will be carried out in a professional manner.
